Please take the time to read about my photography experience and why I have made photography a big part of my life.
My favorite genre, in photography is portraits. Ever since I was a young girl, I have liked to look into the faces of people and see the potential to create a very pleasing, artistic portrait. This desire was noticed by my teachers in Elementary school and I was urged to expand my horizons in photography.
I recall one occasion when my school decided to have a children’s performance of a Royal family and so casting began. As you can imagine, there were several auditions for the character of the beautiful Mistress but none for the role of the Mistress’s servant. That is except for myself. It is this role that I hoped for because I would be the person who was cast as responsible for the dressing of the Mistress. I find much pleasure in adorning another with such beautiful clothing, hairdressing and ornaments to bring about beauty. All of this desire and I was only seven years old.
A certain talent driven by this desire has followed me throughout my professional career as a photographer.
My primary focus, in photography is to make the model beautiful by bringing out the best in every individual by applying the magic of artistic preparation. I am convinced that there are no “ugly models”; only models that have not been properly prepared.
I would like the chance to create with you, a portrait that can be a centerpiece in your home or a submission to a fine art gallery. Perhaps you need a portrait to enter into a beauty contest or maybe you just need an impressive photo for a family greeting card.
